About

INFOSEC Manchester

With a focus in North West of England, namely Manchester, the INFOSEC Manchester events are vendor-neutral and feature panel discussions by industry experts who address a wide spectrum of real-world challenges and current strategies in Cybersecurity today.

The events will be supported by industry leaders, commercial organisations, professional associations, technology vendors and Information Technology professionals from around the world.

In the past we have had speakers from the FBI, Universities, industry-leading organisations and our sponsors. This year we are looking to continue our strong speaker standards to provide our attendees with valuable information and insights into all things Infosec.

Infosec Manchester is proud to be supporting the Wood Street Mission, with a collection on the night, which has gone down exceedingly well in previous events, we have raised hundreds of pounds for the wonderful work the Wood Street Mission are doing, and we hope to continue this at our next event.

Event Title:

🛡️ Beyond Compliance: Achieving Cyber Resilience for Regulation & Shareholders

Abstract:

The regulatory landscape is shifting from post-incident cleanup to mandatory, proactive cyber resilience. Simultaneously, institutional investors and shareholders are demanding greater transparency and accountability, viewing resilience as a critical factor in enterprise value and fiduciary duty. It’s no longer enough to be secure; you must be demonstrably resilient.

Hear from our three industry leaders as they share their firsthand strategies for building and sustaining robust cyber resilience programs that satisfy both stringent regulatory mandates (such as the Telecoms Security Act, EU’s Cyber Resilience Act or DORA) and the rigorous demands of an increasingly cyber-aware board and investment community. Learn how to transform compliance burdens into competitive advantages. Featured talking points to include:
